Raven is everything a premium organic espresso should be. One bad bean can spoil the batch, which is why our roastmaster has spent over 30 years perfecting the roasting and blending process that is so critical to creating a masterful offering.
Raven espresso starts with strictly high-grown 100% Arabica beans from organic and fair-trade farms in Central and South America. Our certified Q-grader ensures that every roast is free from defects that could taint the flavour of this exceptional coffee. Perfect for straight shots or as the foundation for a full range of espresso based beverages.
Meet breakfast’s new best friend! Frog is roasted on the lighter side for a smooth start to your day. However, don’t confuse light with weak, this organic and fairtrade blend of Central and South American beans is bursting with a juicy acidity, hints of citrus and a bright finish. Guaranteed to get you hopping!
Did you know that frogs are disappearing at alarming rates across the globe? Some scientist believe the loss of frogs is one of the first signs that an ecosystem is in trouble. Small changes can make a big difference. That’s why we purchase only organic and rainforest alliance certified coffees for our roasts. Less chemical pesticides means better wetlands and habitats where frogs and other delicate species live.
Roasted just slightly past medium to bring out it’s full glory, this artisan blend is what some have referred to as “the best damn coffee they’ve ever had!” We agree. But you can’t make a great coffee without the best beans. That’s why our certified Q-grader selects only the best beans of the harvest from high-altitude farms in Central and South America.
At Spirit Bear Coffee we love farmers! Especially coffee farmers. And that’s why we purchase ONLY 100% organic and fairtrade coffee. Organic isn’t just better for you, it’s better for them!

We have committed funds to the purchase of a GPS Collar for “Clover”, a Kermode Cub (Spirit Bear Cub). This collar will aid in the research of his release and rehabilitation back into his natural home lands. From this we hope to learn many things about his movements, territory, and survival. Dark French Roast
Thunderbird is our darkest roast – not for the weak of heart. Roasted the way the French have done it for years, Thunderbird is a blend of organic, high-grown Arabica picked from some of the highest mountain farms.
High-altitude boldness is what the Thunderbird is all about. When coffee is grown at higher altitudes the beans are much denser and as a result, the taste is more concentrated and complex. Some abbreviations we look for when sourcing our green coffee are: SHG (strictly high grown) SHB (strictly hard bean) These 2 grades of bean can make all the difference.
